FRIDAY - One of the coolest things about Moscow is... nobody's a puss about winter here. It's never a surprise to them that, "Hey, it's January... it gets cold now... it snows..." No one complains about cold or snow here. Consequently, no one underdresses for the weather.
Sculpture garden? It's open in winter. Outdoor craft market? Open in winter. Sidewalk cafe? Open. Swimming in the Volga River? Winter. Winter is another season to be enjoyed in Moscow and the people here love it.
